A pair of wild turkeys hang around my office building. They've been here for over 6 months, raising a family and browsing through the landscaping. On Friday, some sadistic fuck shot one of the birds with an arrow, and then just left it running around with the arrow sticking out of it. I don't know what happened to the bird. My coworkers told me someone called animal control. Who knows if they managed to catch it? Chances are, that bird died a miserable, agonizing death.
