Blog Anti-Torture
Blog Anti-Torture on Friday March 28th 

So I had a crazy idea. In the wake of Bush's veto of the anti-torture bill last week, some media outlets are actually speaking up and denouncing torture. Why can't the blog-o-sphere join in, in a unified action? I'm tossing this out there.

On Friday, March 28th, I will be posting a blog entry about why I'm anti-torture.

If you'd like to participate, snag the banner and let me know you're going to create something on that date. I'll happily post a link to your blog.

Get creative! If you're artistic, if you're musically gifted, if you're addicted to voice-posting, or you're more of a writer -- express yourself!

Even if you don't want to participate, x-posting helps a lot!

Sounds like a great idea. Count me in. Not a US citizen or dweller, but definitely against torture.

Musta missed this in the dash somewhere. Although, I'm not sure if I could come up with anything more creative than what I've already done about that issue, which is linking to people who say it better than I do. I could be convinced to give it a go, though.

Whatever you decide to do would be wonderful! If you want to link to some of your favorite pieces, that would be good, too! Would you like me to add your name to the list? If you need more time to think though, that's cool. I understand it's a really busy time for a lot of people right now. :)

Thank you so much! I'm going to be posting a lot of comics next week (it's the 5 year anniversary of the female-friendly comics site I'm part of - the comics and art won't be anti-torture themed until Friday) and I'll make sure I link to your posts each time I announce a comic.
